  • onions, sliced
  • brisket
  • garlic powder
  • seasoned salt
  • Rokeach tomato/mushroom sauce
  • 1/2 c. white wine (not cooking)
  • potatoes, peeled and cut

Directions

    Line a roasting pan with onions.

    Lay brisket on top, then season with garlic powder and seasoned salt.

    Brown for 20 minutes at 450°.

    Reduce heat to 350°; cover and cook for about 1 1/2 hours.

    Add the sauce; rinse the sauce can with the white wine and pour over the meat.

    Add potatoes and cook for about 1/2 hour longer.
