  • 4 slices onions
  • 1 bottle Figaro liquid smoke

    Trim as much fat from brisket as possible.

    Slice 2 onions into rings and lay in large roaster.

    Put brisket in.

    Top with 2 more sliced onions.

    Pour bottle of figaro liquid smoke over brisket.

    Cover closely.

    Bake at 325° for 6 to 8 hours (overnight).

    Let sit for 1 to 2 hours, then remove from juice. Throw onions and juice away.

    Slice thinly.

    Serve with barbecue sauce.
