Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 bunch green onions, chopped (including tops)
  • 1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 (8 oz.) roll garlic cheese, cut up or 2 (4 oz.) containers Alloutte garlic and herbs cream cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces

Directions

    Cook broccoli according to directions.

    Drain.

    Melt butter, saute onions and celery until tender.

    Add flour and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.

    Add cheese and stir until melted.

    Blend in soup.

    Add broccoli and mushrooms.

    Bake in greased casserole, covered, at 350° for about 30 minutes or freeze and bake at 375° for about 1 hour.

    Serves 8 to 10.
