Broccoli Casserole

- 1 lb. broccoli
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned stuffing
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Directions

1Cook broccoli until just tender.

2Drain and place in 2-quart casserole dish.

3Melt 3 tablespoons butter in pan and stir in flour.

4Cook together for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and blend in milk.

5Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer until thickened.

6Add pepper and salt. Pour over broccoli in casserole dish.

7Combine stuffing, water and one half cup of butter.

8Spoon on top of casserole, pressing down, if necessary.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

10Serves 8 to 10.
