Broccoli Casserole

  • 20 oz. chopped, frozen broccoli
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 medium onion, chopped small
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick butter
  • crushed bread crumbs (I like to use the ones from a cheap stuffing mix)

    Boil broccoli in a small amount of water.

    Drain.

    In a mixing bowl, add the sour cream, soup (undiluted), onion, broccoli, dabs of butter and a little of bread crumbs.

    Butter baking dish.

    Pour mixture into dish.

    In small pan, melt 1 stick butter; toss in bread crumbs until coated.

    Put coated bread crumbs on mixture. Cover dish and bake until bubbly at 300°.
