  • 3 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 roll garlic cheese
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 3 large stems celery, sliced
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 pkg. of Ritz crackers, crushed

Directions

    Cook broccoli according to the directions; pour off excess water; set aside.

    In the top of double boiler, melt cheese with mushroom soup while onions and celery are being sauteed in margarine.

    Combine these two mixtures along with mushrooms and water chestnuts.

    Into a large greased casserole dish, pour broccoli; then the above mixture and top with Ritz crackers.

    Bake in 350° oven until brown and bubbly.

    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
