  • fresh broccoli, precooked
  • boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • Cheddar or American cheese, grated
  • onion and garlic powder to taste
  • bread crumbs

Directions

    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, spread enough precooked fresh broccoli to cover bottom.

    Over layer of broccoli, arrange chicken breasts in single layer.

    Mix soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, onion and garlic powder to taste.

    Spoon over the meat and broccoli. Sprinkle grated Cheddar or American cheese over sauce.

    Sprinkle bread crumbs over top.

    Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.
