- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small jar Old English cheese
- 2 jars sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 3/4 c. sliced almonds
Directions

1Cook broccoli as directed; drain.

2Saute onion in butter.

3Add soup, cheese and seasoning.

4Cook over medium heat until cheese melts.

5Add broccoli; cook 1 minute longer.

6Add mushrooms and almonds.

7Serve hot with chips or crackers.

8Can be served in a round loaf or shepherd's bread.

9Cut top off; remove insides.

10Pour mixture into bread.

11Use center of bread to dip.
