- 2 pkg. frozen broccoli
- 2 c. cooked, rinsed rice
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1 chopped fine onion
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. milk
- 1 1/2 lb. fully cooked ham, diced
- shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese
Directions

1Cook broccoli; drain.

2Spoon rice into a 13 x 9-inch pan or casserole.

3Place broccoli over rice.

4Melt butter; pour 2 tablespoons over crumbs and set aside.

5In remaining butter, saute onion until soft.

6Add flour and salt and cook until bubbly.

7Stir in milk.

8Cook until thick.

9Add ham and heat.

10Pour over rice and broccoli.

11Put crumbs over top; heat.
