- 1 (1 lb.) bunch fresh broccoli
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 1/2 cloves garlic, unpeeled and minced
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Wash broccoli, removing tough ends.

2Peel stems if tough. Split broccoli into separate flowerets.

3Cut pieces so they are no more than 3 inches long.

4Put broccoli into steamer basket.

5Steam for approximately 10 minutes or until broccoli is bright green, but still tender-crisp in texture.

6Remove onto heated serving dish.

7Cover.
