Broccoli Rice

  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar cheese spread
  • 1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1 (3 oz.) can French fried onion rings (optional)

Directions

    In a medium saucepan, gently cook onion in margarine until wilted.

    Stir in the mustard, then the cheese spread.

    Gradually stir in the soup.

    Add broccoli and rice; stir gently.

    Put in buttered casserole dish and bake in a 350° oven for about 20 minutes.

    Put onion rings on top of casserole before baking.
