Broccoli Soup

- 1 lb. frozen broccoli
- 1 stick butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- milk (2 soup cans)
- 1 can chopped mushrooms (optional)
- 1/4 lb. Velveeta (or Cheddar)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Saute onion in butter, puree half of the broccoli in the blender with 1 can of milk.

2In saucepan, mix onions, all the soups and milk.

3Let simmer for a few minutes.

4Then add cheese. This is better the day after it is made.
