- 1 stick margarine
- 2 to 3 stalks celery
- 2 to 3 carrots
- 1 large onion
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 heads broccoli
- 1 large can chicken broth
- 4 potatoes, cut up
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 to 1 lb. Velveeta (optional)
Directions

1In a large pot, saute vegetables in margarine.

2Slowly add flour.

3Parboil broccoli.

4Add water and all to vegetables.

5Add chicken broth and potatoes.

6Season with salt and pepper.

7Cheese may also be added.
