- fresh broccoli
- 1 onion
- 3 cans milk
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 block butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- salt and black pepper
- garlic powder
- Tony Chachere's seasoning
Directions

1Steam broccoli flowers in a cup of water.

2Grate onion and saute in butter.

3Slowly add in cream of mushroom soup, adding the milk and seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic and Tony's).

4Bring to a slow boil, adding in Cheddar cheese, stirring often.

5Let come to a rolling boil.

6Add broccoli.

7Cut heat back; cover with a lid, cooking for 10 minutes.

8Let stand another 10 minutes.

9Serves 6.
