Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. chicken base
- 1/4 c. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. diced celery
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 qt. half and half
- 2 qt. fresh broccoli
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cooking sherry (optional)
Directions

1Clean and cut up broccoli.

2Add first 7 ingredients in a large saucepan; cook on low heat.

3Stir occasionally.

4Boil broccoli for 12 minutes or until tender and immediately add to mixture. Increase heat to medium-high.

5Simmer and stir.

6Melt butter; mix with flour to get creamy mixture.

7Add to soup.

8When soup thickens, add sherry.

9Mix well.

10Eat.
