  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) small macaroni shells
  • 1 box chopped frozen broccoli
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb. American cheese

Directions

    Saute onion in butter; add broth.

    Bring to boil; add shells. Cook 5 minutes.

    Add frozen broccoli and cook 4 minutes.

    Add salt, pepper and milk.

    Heat just until warm.
