Broccoli Soup

- 16 oz. frozen broccoli
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 sticks melted margarine
- onion salt to taste
- garlic salt to taste
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. milk
- 1 16 oz. shredded Velveeta cheese
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Put water and broccoli in a large saucepan.

2Add margarine, onion salt, garlic salt and onion and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Add milk and cheese; stir constantly to avoid sticking.

3Simmer 5 to 10 minutes more, then mix cornstarch and milk together and add to thicken soup.

4Heat thoroughly.

5Serves 4 to 6.
