Broccoli Stroganoff

- 1 bunch broccoli chopped coarsely, peel stalks first
- onion 1 lg., chopped
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1/4 pound mushrooms sliced
- low fat cream cheese or 8 ounces reg.
- soy sauce
- salt
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Steam or cook broccoli in small amount of water until just tender. Drain and set aside. Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter until all liquid has evaporated. Set aside.

2Saute onions and garlic in butter until tender. Add cream cheese, 2 to 3 tablespoons soy sauce and stir until smooth and heated through. Fold in steamed broccoli and mushrooms. Serve over fettucini or other noodles.
