  • 3 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 pkt Active dry yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 c. Hot water
  • 1 x Egg white

Directions

    Pour 2 1/2cups flour into large bowl an make a well.

    Pour yeast, sugar and 2 Tbsp.

    hot water into well.

    Don't mix with the flour at this time.

    Cover the bowl with a cloth and set it in a hot place for 15 min, add in the remaining water and oil and beat till mixed.

    Turn out on counter top.

    Knead till smooth.

    Add in the remaning 1/2 c. flour as needed.

    Put dough in bowl, cover and let rise till double in size.

    Punch down and divide the dough into 12 parts.

    Shape into oval rolls and place 3 inches apart on a greased and floured cookie sheet.

    Cover and let rise till double in size.

    Beat egg white and 1 tsp.

    water with a fork till frothy.

    Brush on rolls.

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

    or possibly till golden.

    Makes 12 rolls .
