  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 3/4 to 1 c. shredded coconut

    Mix all ingredients together and spread on top of 9 x 13-inch white or yellow cake while it is still warm.

    Place very low under broiler; broil until icing bubbles all over surface and becomes brown.

    Take care that it does not burn.
