Brown Butter Rum Cookies

- 1-1/2 stick Butter
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 Tablespoons Spiced Rum
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 cup White Sugar, Divided
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2In a medium sauce pan, heat butter until it becomes deep golden brown. Make sure to continually stir so it does not bubble over or burn. Set aside to cool for 20 minutes.

3In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together.

4In a separate bowl, combine egg, cooled butter, vanilla, rum, brown sugar, and 1/2 cup white sugar. Slowly add in flour mixture and mix until the dough just comes together.

5Roll 1 tablespoon of dough into ball and roll in remaining sugar. Place on a cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining dough.

6Bake for 8-12 minutes.
