  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 can consomme or beef bouillon
  • 1/2 pkg. slivered almonds
  • 1 small can mushrooms (undrained)
  • 3/4 c. raw rice
  • small onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped

Directions

    Melt butter in skillet. Add onion and saute until clear. Add almonds, celery and rice; cook for 2 minutes. Pour consomme or bouillon and undrained mushrooms into skillet. Transfer to covered casserole and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
