  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time and blend well after each addition.

    Stir in vanilla. Pour into pastry shell and bake at 450° for 5 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 325° and bake 25 minutes longer or until firm.
