Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup pecans
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions

1Process flour, pecans, and salt in food processor fitted with steel blade until mixture is a fine powder.

2In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

3Mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture; knead until soft dough forms.

4Cover and chill 8 hours.

5Preheat oven to 300F.

6For cookie pattern, place desired gift box on tracing paper.

7Use pencil to draw around box.

8Cut out pattern 3/8-inch inside drawn line.

9On lightly floured surface, usedd floured rolling pin to roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness.

10Place pattern on dough and use sharp knife to cut around pattern.

11Transfer cookies to greased baking sheet.

12Bake 20-25 minutes, until light brown.

13Cool completely on wire rack.

14Store in airtight container.
