  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk or sweet milk

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Bring oleo, water and oil to boil.
  3. 3
    Add to dry ingredients along with eggs, vanilla and milk.
  4. 4
    Mix all ingredients well and pour into greased, well-floured cake pans. Bake at 350° for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
