Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • dash of salt
  • 1 (2 oz.) sq. semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt margarine and chocolate over hot water in a double boiler.

    Mix in remaining ingredients.

    Pour into a greased 8-inch pie pan and bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Cool, then top each serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and if desired chocolate sauce.
