Ingredients

  • 2 (4 oz. each) pkg. German sweet chocolate
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Melt chocolate and margarine in a double boiler or microwave. Stir and let cool.

    Beat eggs until foamy.

    Then add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time; beat until thickened (about 5 minutes). Blend in chocolate mixture.

    Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

    Blend.

    Stir in vanilla and nuts.

    Drop by teaspoon onto a greased baking sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. Store in airtight container.
