- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions

1Butter and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

2In saucepan, heat butter and corn syrup until butter melts.

3Stir in chips.

4Stir until melted.

5Add sugar and egg, blending well.

6Add vanilla, flour and nuts.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until tested done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out on rack.
