  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 2 sq. bitter chocolate, melted
  • 2/3 c. pecans

Directions

    Cream margarine; add sugar.

    Mix in eggs (slightly beaten). Add vanilla; sift in flour.

    Add melted chocolate and chopped pecans.

    Bake at 325° for 25 minutes in an 8-inch square pan lined with wax paper.

    Do not overcook.
