- 250 g unsalted butter
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 65 g plain flour
- 65 g cocoa powder
- 300 g golden caster sugar
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 large eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 100 g milk chocolate chips
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180C, gas mark 4.

2Grease a large baking tin.

3Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water.

4Sift the plain flour, a pinch of salt, cocoa and baking powder into a separate bowl.

5Beat the sugar and the eggs until pale and creamy.

6Slowly add the eggs and the yolk until smooth mixture.

7Gently fold the melted chocolate and the vanilla extract into the butter and sugar mixture, followed by dry ingredients and chocolate chips.

8Add to the tin and cook for 30 minutes.

9When finished, leave to chill for an hour.
