  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 sq. bitter chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Melt the butter and chocolate; cool.

    Beat eggs with wire whisk; add sugar, chocolate and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Add flour and walnuts.

    Bake in small coffee cake pan at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Frost or cover with powdered sugar.
