- 8 slices white bread
- 1/2 c. melted butter (unsalted)
- 2 c. cubed ham
- 2 c. fresh broccoli, cooked and chopped
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cube bread and place in melted butter; toss well.

2In buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole, layer half of the bread cubes, half Cheddar cheese, half of the broccoli, all of the cubed ham, then layer remaining broccoli, cheese and bread.

3Beat eggs and milk thoroughly with seasoning.

4Pour over all layers.

5Refrigerate overnight or at least several hours.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour, until puffy and nicely browned.

7Serves 6.
