  • 1 lb. mild bulk sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 slices French bread, cubed
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes

Directions

    Brown sausage in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Combine eggs, milk, mustard, nutmeg and salt in bowl; mix well. Stir in sausage, bread, cheese and parsley flakes.

    Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Chill overnight.

    Bake for 45 minutes in a preheated 350° oven.

    Let stand for several minutes. Cut into squares.
