- 1 (6 lb.) hen
- 2 1/2 lb. fresh pork roast
- 5 lb. onions
- 4 cans tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 dried red pepper
- 2 1/2 lb. stew beef
- 1 lb. dried lima beans
- 10 lb. potatoes
- 2 cans cream-style corn
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil meat separately; chop.

2Grind chicken skins.

3Soak beans overnight.

4Cook beans and onions in broth; mash.

5Boil potatoes in jackets.

6Mash tomatoes.

7Add meat and broth.

8Combine all ingredients except potatoes.

9Mash potatoes.

10Add to stew while hot.

11Cook, stirring, to keep from sticking until thoroughly heated.

12May be canned or frozen.

13Yield: 13 quarts stew.
