- 16 eggs
- 1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
- 8 oz. oil
- 2 yeast cakes
- lemon or anise flavoring
- flour (to make bread dough)
Directions

1Beat eggs.

2Add sugar and oil.

3Prepare yeast according to package instructions.

4Add to egg mixture. Add flour, a little at a time, until soft dough is formed.

5Put into greased large bowl or kettle.

6Let rise until double in size.

7Shape into desired forms.

8Let rise again until double in size. Bake at 300° to 325° for 15 to 20 minutes.

9Be sure to grease tin before placing desired form.
