  • 2 lb. frozen French fries
  • 1 tall can evaporated milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • garlic salt to taste or other salt
  • 2 c. (1/2 lb.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Place unthawed potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.

    Add salt. Pour milk over potatoes; sprinkle cheese over top.

    Dot with margarine.

    Cover with foil and bake in a 400° oven for 45 minutes.
