- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. chocolate syrup
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.

2Beat in eggs, one at a time.

3Combine dry ingredients and stir in alternately with milk and vanilla.

4Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased Bundt pan.

5To remaining batter stir in chocolate syrup.

6Pour over batter already in the pan.
-
7Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.

8Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean.

9when the cake is cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
