  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. chopped, candied red or green cherries
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • pecans, walnuts or Brazil nuts
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. chopped, candied pineapple

Directions

    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, mixing well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.

    Beat 2 minutes.

    Fold in chopped fruit and nuts.

    Bake in greased and floured pan at 250° for 1 hour.

    Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Remove.
