Burger Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 can vegeburger
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 soup cans water
  • 3 c. coarsely grated cabbage
  • 3 Tbsp. raw rice

Directions

    Saute burger in oil until lightly browned.

    Mix in onion, salt and rice; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.

    Add tomato soup and water. Mix thoroughly and remove from heat.

    Put cabbage in casserole. Pour burger mix over cabbage to completely cover (do not stir). Cover and bake 1 hour at 350°.

    Serves 4 to 6.
