- 2 lb. round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1 c. Burgundy
Directions

1Mix meat and vegetables in Dutch oven.

2Mix flour, sugar and salt.

3Add to meat mixture.

4Stir in tomatoes and wine.

5Cook in oven for 4 hours at 325° covered.

6Serve over rice or noodles.
