  • butter or margarine

    Spread pie filling in buttered 9-inch pie pan.

    Cover with cake mix (enough cake mix to make light covering over pie filling).

    Add chopped nuts over cake mix and dot with butter.

    Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes or until butter melts and a light brown crust covers pie.

    Cool and serve with ice cream.
