- 4 cans butter beans
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2/3 c. ketchup
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 medium onion
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Dice bacon and fry with onion until done.

2Don't drain fat off bacon and onions as this adds a lot of flavor.

3Place beans in a large pan.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Cook until thickened, about 1 hour, on low heat.
