  • 1 lb. chicken fillets, cubed
  • 1 md. onion, sliced
  • 4 tbsp. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. fresh ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. fresh ground garlic
  • 1 tsp. fine salt
  • 2 tsp. fine red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp. powdered cumin corriander blend
  • 1/2 tsp. tumeric powder
  • 1 can tomato paste (small)
  • 1 oz. butter for sauteing
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • Chopped corrainder leaves for garnishing

Directions

    Mix buttermilk, ginger, garlic and spices together.

    Add tomato paste.

    Add washed and cubed chicken to marinade; allow to marinate for 30 minutes.

    While chicken is marinating, saute the onions in the butter, on medium heat.

    Add marinated chicken, cook for 15 minutes on medium-low heat.

    Remove from heat, add fresh cream and stir well.

    Return to heat, cook for 5 minutes.

    Garnish with chopped corriander leaves.

    Serve immediately.
