Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter (do not substitute)
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. cream (do not substitute)
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Dough will be stiff.

    Roll out on floured surface and cut with small cutter.

    These do not rise or spread, so can be placed close together on cookie sheet.

    Make small indentation and put dab of tart jelly on each before baking. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
