Butter Dips(Quick Bread)

- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2/3 c. milk
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Melt butter in pan in oven and remove. (You may find you need additional butter.)

3Stir dry ingredients together.

4Add milk; stir.

5Knead lightly.

6Roll out 1/2-inch thick into an 8-inch square.

7With floured knife, cut into strips 4 inches wide, then cut crosswise to make 18 sticks.

8Dip sticks in butter; place in 2 rows in pan.

9Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.

10Makes 18 Butter Dips.
