- 5 to 6 medium parsnips, peeled and cut into lengthwise quarters
- 4 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
Directions

1In covered 3-quart saucepan, boil parsnips in water until tender, 8 to 10 minutes.

2Drain.

3Dip parsnips in 1/4 cup melted butter.

4In plastic bag combine flour and seasoned salt.

5Add parsnips; shake to coat with flour mixture.

6In 10-inch skillet melt 1/4 cup butter until sizzling.

7Add parsnips.

8Cook over medium high heat, turning occasionally until all sides are golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes.

9Makes 4 to 6 servings.
