Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 drops coloring
  • 1 lb. xxxx confectioners sugar
  • 10 drops peppermint oil

Directions

    Combine milk and butter in top of double boiler.

    Heat until butter melts.

    Remove and add peppermint oil and coloring.
  4. 4
    Add sugar and stir until blended.

    Turn out onto wax paper, well powdered with xxxx sugar.

    Roll into ball and knead until workable.

    Take small amounts at a time (small pieces) and roll into balls.

    Place on waxed paper and flatten with a fork.

    Let stand overnight until hard.
