- 1 c. Crisco shortening
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. butternut flavoring
Directions

1Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs together for 10 minutes at high speed in mixing bowl.

2Add 1 cup flour.

3Beat on high for 1 minute.

4Add remaining flour and milk.

5Beat 1 minute on high. Add butternut flavoring.

6Beat well.

7Pour in greased tube pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.
