  • 1 butter cake mix
  • 3 oz. box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. rum flavoring or the real thing
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. rum

    Mix all ingredients with electric mixer on medium 2 to 3 minutes.

    Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan in a 350° oven about 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.

    Bring margarine, sugar and water to a boil.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in rum.

    Pour this mixture over hot cake.

    Let set at least 30 minutes without removing from pan.
