- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
- poppy seed
Directions

1Melt margarine in an oblong pan.

2Combine flour, sugar and milk; stir with fork until mixture clings together as for biscuit dough.

3Place on floured board; knead until dough holds together. Roll into oblong shape.

4Cut down center with knife; cut into 1 1/2-inch strips.

5Place in pan of melted margarine.

6Sprinkle with poppy seed.

7Bake in preheated 425° oven for about 15 minutes, or until brown.
